Histree
Child Safety Standards
Last updated: November 3, 2026
Histree is an app for families to share memories with each other. Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) has no place on it. This page applies to the Histree app and website and sits alongside the Terms of Use.
What is not allowed
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, edited or computer-made images.
- Sexualizing a minor in any photo, video, recording, story, comment or message.
- Grooming, sextortion, or using Histree to contact a minor for sexual purposes.
- Trafficking or advertising a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sharing links to, or asking for, any of the above.
How to report it
- In the app, open the memory and tap Report.
- Or email support@histree.com with “Child safety” in the subject.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number. In the United States you can also report to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1‑800‑843‑5678.
What happens next
- Content that breaks these standards is removed.
- Accounts that post it are closed.
- Apparent CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to other authorities as the law requires.
Blocking
You can block a relative from the options on their leaf of the family tree.
